The program from the course titled, The Ways of Urban Growth , initially created in 1971-72, proposes a unique view and specific style for urban analysis. The study of the relationships among different physical city types, the influence of their social and economic content, the reading of their urban elements (understood as units of form: building types, parcels, streets and infrastructures) and the different mechanisms of action, construction, property, use and transformation over the years are treated as substantial material for the overall theory.
