The first rule of Borrowing is that a Borrower must never be seen. The Borrowers are tiny people who live under the floor of the Lender familys house. A nasty lawyer, Ocious P. Potter wants to pull down the Lenders home. Then young Pete Lender finds Arrietty Clock, a Borrower, and they join together to try to stop him. But can they save the house? And will the Borrowers escape safely from the dangerous human beans? The Borrowers has been a great favourite with English children for many years.
